tired/d

Halt.
See.
Around you.
How we live, work, live together.

Are you wide-eyed at how we do what we do, as people, as a society? Do you worry about recent election results here and there? Are you haunted by a sense of urgency, but can no longer see in which direction to rush? Are you experiencing the restlessness of a stretched liminality, a never-ending meantime?

We recognize that. And we want to do something with it.
Do you allow yourself to get tired of it too, helplessly tired about what you alone cannot change? And how do you find the courage again and again to stand up for what is important?

In this show, we engage with this field of tension. Rather than putting the concrete contexts of this field first, we dwell on the mechanisms behind them:

  • Complexity (When do you do good for the climate now?)
  • Blind spots (How can you avoid taxes and stop seeing how strong our social security system is?)
  • Absurdity (A measure sometimes leads to a reverse effect: more economical bulbs make us use more light.)
  • Hypocrisy (Wanting to stop migration flows while funding wars).
  • ...

We believe that a clear mind and good conversations are necessary to get ourselves through the coming years. And that our interactive theater is a powerful tool for that. This performance aims to give heart to those who want to remain resilient in these turbulent times. Or those who are desperate for more resilience.
Balancing between tired and brave. Together.
In a vibrant mix of conversation and theater scenes, we bring air, light and humor to this matter!

"So coolly brought. From audience input. On what we care about in the world. Then to what we feel about that, and the voices in our heads. Climate gags, guilty pleasures,...Never seen so coolly portrayed!"

"Yesterday I got to experience the premiere of Moe/d, and it was downright magical. Not only to see, but especially to feel. Because that's what #improvisation does: it touches, it moves and it opens new perspectives. "

"We really enjoyed this fantastic, creative and sparkling performance."
