Fed up Fed up.

Burnout is everywhere: in the media, at work, in your circle of friends... Or maybe you yourself express that you are "on the edge. Or you are or have been completely "out" yourself before.

TIM translates theories about burnout, its origins, causes, treatment and, last but not least, prevention into a gripping performance. We follow the story of Kris, our protagonist who as a character is created on the spot through a mix of stories from the audience.

From this mix, the storyline is also improvised, interspersed with an intervention by a player expert.
Attention is given both to the interplay of work environment factors and individual factors, and to the symptomatic aspect of burnout (or then rather exhaustion syndrome) in society. The common thread in the show is concern for the relational fabric in work environments. We also pay attention to interaction stress, and other forms of microstress that we can get a better handle on through greater understanding and recognition. The gigantic impact of excessive work pressure, especially in certain sectors, is not lost sight of.

We follow closely the the new insights around burnout and give much explicit space to it in this performance. In March 2023, we were part of SERV's congress on burnout.
