With 1 leg in the sea, and 1 leg on the stage

We dove back in, a new TIM season is upon us! This first "real work week" with TIM is immediately well filled, and at the same time the summer atmosphere is still hanging in well.
Yesterday we played as one of many inspiration providers, for the 1,000 employees of Group Intro who are on a two-day trip. We provided a combination formula of the performance Together-together but different, and the keynote Novelty From Nathalie. In a theater in the middle of the beautiful domain of the Hoge Rielen. Where at the same time a lot of camps go on. Picked up on foot by our personal forest guide. We held our briefing in the warm sunshine, and Ingrid peppered the whole forecast with her brand new Tuscan experiences.
Today, a meeting was scheduled for a performance on the own vulnerability of people working with people in vulnerable situations. The summer touch was not missing, as sunny fruit cocktails were served instead of lukewarm meeting coffee. We also had in between an internal coordination about something via whatsapp between Belgium and Greece. Tomorrow, facing the sea, the scenarios of a video series for a training on assertiveness for domestic helpers will be worked out, and a tender will be completed for role-playing on discrimination in the rental market. The location for the two briefings with clients Thursday will take place on an outdoor patio. Friday we play Fed up, fucked up (on stress and burnout prevention) for employees of a special education school. Because that's what teachers do: already full steam ahead while it's still "vacation."

Gravity in light, light in heaviness

And that transition phase has something. With one leg in the sand and one leg on the stage. After a beautiful post-corona spring that engulfed us with moments, we are already resolving to take the summer feeling into winter with us this coming season. That's suddenly interesting for the gas bill. :-). But also because that sunshine helps us do what we often and gladly do: bring heaviness into the light, and light into heaviness.

Some solid examples along these lines from the fall agenda:
SWERM, Improvisation as inspiration at a conference for CEOs, CFOs, CHROs, and other Chiefs where zoomed in on leadership in difficult times such as now, when both organizations and society are in pretty loose sand (building cathedrals in the sand)
- A tour (FR/NL) with a performance custom On discussing workplace violence against women. For a large group of WZCs, during Orange the World's global campaign in November
- performances for various companies about the intergenerational divide, which looms large. Norse Boomers who self-proclaimed "Still Know What Working Is" masochistically enjoy the Pain in doing so, versus Snowflakes who put their Personal Development first until their Navel is pierced from Staring into it. It is clearly alive, and provides sparks.
Feedback, many performances about feedback. Even in places where it's still unthinkable to say anything directly to a colleague, let alone to a higher-up, because "I'm not paid to do that."
- A performance custom for child care workers who, since tragedies came to light in some child care initiatives, suddenly find themselves dealing with parents who, out of fear and uncertainty, become distrustful, and sometimes very demanding, or aggressive.

And of course there are the TIM instants, the interludes and the wrap-ups, where we just add a lot of rays to the sun already present!
