Improvisers know the art of recognizing patterns, and breaking them. Sometimes that happens slowly. For example, we caught ourselves some time ago that invariably opting for a "healthy gender mix" had become nothing more than a pattern with us. We always played on a mixed team as far as gender was concerned. If not, it was because no man (or in rarer cases with us, woman) was available that date.
While that is actually not à always relevant or important. Or that it can just be strong to play with only men or only women.
So we let go of that pattern. And so it can happen that we play in two parallel teams, a men's team and a women's team.
