Didactic workshop for trainers, coaches, teachers, supervisors,...
Practicing tricky communication situations through role-playing is a powerful method. Young children do it spontaneously and frequently. Adults sometimes do it unconsciously by somehow projecting situations with unpleasant colleagues at home onto their loved ones. Or vice versa.
If we use role-play intentionally, methodically and effectively, we can create a very powerful experiential learning environment.
The trainers and players from the Inspinazienest are ardent believers of role-playing. In turn, their improvisational skills are an absolute asset, as they can adapt exercises and situations à la minute to whatever is most necessary and useful for those practicing.
They provide role-playing training for many companies and educational institutions on a regular basis, including KU Leuven, Vlerick and Swift, as well as in open offerings. In the Neurotraining Lab of the Antwerp Management School, they are the regular actors.
Nathalie Van Renterghem hosts this train the trainer session. She has been inspiring trainers in refining role-playing methodologies for 25 years.
Her seasoned experience with role-playing and her didactic savvy as an ex-teacher will ensure that you go home with effective forms of work which you can start deploying the day after.
This training also offers you answers to and solutions for typical role-playing bottlenecks: resistance, flight behavior, confidentiality and safety, role confusion trainer/director/practitioner/actor, time estimation, chaotic flow, deviation from theme,...
The training has already given many people a new and (even) more positive view of using role-playing.
