Open en verbindend communiceren
An open communication culture turns out to be much less easily done than said.
> Mutual feedback is not as obvious as it seems. As a result, it is often done in an indirect way. Or too harsh.
> A lot of people have trouble sharing their views on an issue, especially if they feel they represent a minority viewpoint.
> People are often very afraid of damaging relationships by speaking freely. As a result, negativity disappears below the surface, where it can later cause — sometimes major — damage.
In this performance, we explore what can go wrong and what causes it. We explore how to speak and listen effectively and authentically.
In doing so, we explore the added value of connection, and of clear, honest expression. We also reflect on the role of stress, status and roles in a team or organization.
We are advocates of continuous feedback as the foundation of an open communication culture. In doing so, we make a clear distinction with other forms of conversation such as evaluations, follow-up talks, coaching.
We laten ervaren wat het betekent om te Communiceren met Lijf, Liefde en Lef.
More generally, this performance is about strengthening the relational fabric. After all, a team or organization in which much care goes into such a resilient fabric thrives like no other!
The performance is adapted to any familiar communication models or language in the organization, such as specific feedback models, connective communication, ...
Not only did we have a good laugh, the content was very strong. You guys are a top team!

What a wonderful addition to our Brain Boost study day, which focused on connecting communication! The performance Zeg het gewoon (Just Say It) by Tim Theater was not only entertaining, but also particularly relevant. With humor and interaction, important themes such as understanding and empathy were presented in an accessible way. It was the perfect way to engage 400 colleagues in the essence of effective communication, both in the work context and beyond. An inspiring experience that will certainly help us to communicate better and with more connection.
